Assistant Principal's Message

My name is Dr. Megan Chaffin and I am honored to join The Circle and serve as the new Assistant Principal for Social Circle Primary School! It is a privilege to be part of a community that values education and supports the holistic development of every student. In my years working in education, I have had the privilege of working in various roles that have deepened my commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. My background includes work in various school districts in Georgia; including secondary level classroom teacher, alternative school director, district special education coordinator, district MTSS/PBIS director and elementary assistant principal. I am excited to bring this experience to aid in my service to our school. 

At Social Circle Primary School, we are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential. Our work, even at the primary level, is geared towards our district commitment to the Portrait of a Graduate. My role as Assistant Principal involves multiple responsibilities, all aimed at ensuring that our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that strong relationships between students, families, and staff are essential for a successful educational experience. I encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Your input is invaluable in helping us create the best possible learning environment for our students.
