Welcome back, students and families! I am so excited about this upcoming school year!
My family and I joined the Social Circle City School System in 2018, and we have loved being part of the “Circle!” I have three wonderful daughters. My youngest graduated from SCHS in 2021, and she is attending August University where my oldest daughter is a recent graduate. My middle daughter attends GCSU. I have an amazing husband who is a pastor in the Loganville area.
I have been blessed to serve and work with students and families in education for 26 years. I spent three years in Texas, four years in Kingsland, GA, five years as a consultant for a reading company, thirteen years in private education, and this is my fifth year at SCPS. I’m so fortunate to have worked as a music teacher, classroom teacher, reading interventionist, SST Coordinator, EIP teacher, and assistant principal. I am a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina where I received my undergraduate degree in Music Education. I received a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic University, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta University. I recently completed the Dyslexia Endorsement for the state of Georgia.
It is such a joy and honor to work at Social Circle Primary School as Assistant Principal. I believe strongly in supporting students and families!
